Emrie Roars in the Kindergarten Circus

Emrie's Kindargarten class performed a circus.  She was a tight-rope walker.  Her class sang several songs and performed some amazing acts.

Emrie's Big Day, One Less Tooth, No Training Wheels

Emrie had quite a day, this morning the Tooth Fairy left her some coin because she lost one of her big top teeth, and after a few tries with no training wheels, she just took off.  She wanted an early start on our very sunny Sunday, so she went outside in her pajamas and threw on her old Dalmatian coat. While sometimes we miss the old neighborhood, the big parking lot next door was just right for several long solo rides!

Isaac's Leprechaun Trap

For St. Patrick's Day Isaac's class made Leprechaun traps!  Here are some pictures his teacher took of Isaac's contraption.  They will find out Monday if it was successful.

Isaac's Back Flip Dunk

The snow is gone (mostly) and the sun was out so Isaac and Emrie were back on the trampoline.  Right off Isaac experimented with a couple of new dunks.  Last year he worked at a back flip dunk, now he has added a twist!

Last Game

Thanks to Brady Gardner's other Lincoln team, we were able to schedule one last game.  We had one last goal, for everyone to make a basket and . . . mission accomplished.  The boys had a great time and both teams played very well.  It is extra fun when they playing with and against friends.  Here are some pictures, including a team photo the Lincoln Thunder team.

Biscuits

Our Sunday tradition is to make baking soda biscuits from scratch.  We have great helpers in Isaac and Emrie!  Here is the recipe:

2 cups flour
1 t. salt
1 t. cream of tarter
3 t. of baking soda
2 T of sugar
1/2 cup of butter
3/4 cup of buttermilk

Mix all dry ingredients, grate cube of butter into dry mix.  Add buttermilk, mix.

Knead 6-7 times.

Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes!

Lincoln Thunder Game 7

We played one of the the other Lincoln teams and the boys had a great time.  They improve each week.  All of the team members scored and they were all very aggressive on defense.  Brandon and Brayden both got some bumps and bruises, but they kept on playing.  Our last game will be next week.
