Celebrating Grandpa Davis's 80th Birthday and Davis Family Thanksgiving Reunion

Nearly all of us members of the Sherrel and Mary Davis Family spent the Thanksgiving holiday weekend at West Piney LDS lodge.  We had a great time celebrating Grandpa Davis's 80th birthday (actually on November 22, 2014) and enjoying Thanksgiving together.  We had nearly 50 family members and we enjoyed games, visiting, great food, a talent show, a really big/fast slide, and fun in the snow.  Here are some picks and some video clips from our reunion.

Remembering Halloween, and Emrie's Brithday

What a late post, especially for Emrie's birthday, which just happened to coincide with BYUI's P2B conference (which took all of the old man's time).  We did have a lovely time celebrating the cutest-girl-in-the-world's 7th birthday.  She wanted caramel instead a cake, which we learned doesn't work best for candles.  We were so happy to be joined by Grandma and Grandpa Davis, along with Jenna's good friend Chris.

Halloween this year was extra fun because we had Matthew's family with us.  They have just moved back to Rexburg!  We had a cowgirl, a football star (with a new Nike swoosh haircut), Thomas the Train, and a pumpkin.  They had a great time, though none of them were too scary, except perhaps for the skeleton mom and baby!  On a side note, how cool is it, at the age of 53, to still have "little enough" kids to go trick or treating.  Either that, or it is a sign of really bad family planning! And, this will never happen again, the high temperature for Halloween day in Rexburg was 69 degrees:)

Last 2 Games

Isaac's team the KC Chiefs had there last two games of the season, featuring lots of touchdowns for all team.  The final game was against the Seahawks, the other team from Lincoln Elementary.  It was best friends against best friends, and the game was the best - lots of points and mostly a tie game. Here are some pics of our future gridiron stars.
