A Bright Sunny Day for Sledding

Saturday was one of those glorious Rexburg days when the sun was out, some fresh new snow, moderately warm temperatures, and no wind. Thankfully, we are just one short block from Smith Park, and sled hill that is just right for the kids.

Squirrel Chaser

With our old dog Lolli being a senior citizen, and our new puppy Gretel, being a bit slow and not too mean, the squirrels have taken over the back yard. Gretel puts up a pretty good chase, but mostly the dogs just end up sharing most of their food.

Isaac and Emrie have Decided to Get Married

We are pleased to announce that Isaac and Emrie have decided to get married. Actually Emrie came up with the great idea, even running around the house calling Isaac her new husband (at first she was calling him her wife). This all happened as Isaac was getting ready for bed, hence the pajamas. For Emrie's wedding dress, she chose one of Jenna's tops.

Grandma McInelly Funeral

When your grandmother passes away at the age of 98 and lived such an exemplary life, the funeral was more of a celebration than time of sadness. She was a widow of more than 40 years and we know she is enjoying a reunion with our Grandpa Mc, and others including our uncle and brother Bryce and our son Dale. Our Grandma will be missed, but we look forward to the time we will be together again. We had a wonderful time returning to Escalante and seeing some many close family and friends.

Remembering A wonderful Grandmother

On January 3 we lost our wonderful grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother Twila McInelly who passed away at the age of 98. We made several trips to Southern Utah to visit grandma, who was always positive and remembered all the names of her 200+ grandchildren.

She lived a wonderful life and legacy. We will miss Grandma Mack.

Back to the Crib for Emrie

Now that Jenna as moved back (she is off track and home from BYU-Idaho) Emrie is temporarily back in the crib. She is a good sport and enjoys going to bed with her favorite teddy bear.
