A Knight and a Butterfly

For our Halloween festivities, Emrie became a butterfly and Isaac was a Knight.  They had a fun time trunk or treating at our ward building and visiting Grandpa Dorman, and Grandpa and Grandma Davis.  The best news, it was unseasonably warm for a Rexburg Halloween.

Happy Birthday Emrie, She's Five!

We had a small birthday celebration for Emrie Grace Davis who turned 5 on October 10.  She still is our miracle a baby and she patiently waited for 2 days to open her presents.  This week has been just plain crazy with scouts, roundtable, and music lessons.  We were so happy to have her living grandparents join in the celebration.  After opening presents, we honored her number one wish and took her to Green Canyon to swim.

New Camera!

Well, my old reliable Sony Cybershot bit the dust and Christopher's little point-and-shoot just wasn't cutting it.  The good news, Cindy let me get my first digital SLR, a Canon T3.  I have a lot to learn, but I am excited to expand my interest in photography.  And, it doesn't hurt having the cutest kids in the world to photograph (IMHO).

Shooting 101 with Michael

Michael and Kelly came up for Conference weekend.  Michael and Christopher both own vintage WWII era German pistols.  Michael was kind enough to share his vast knowledge, enthusiasm, and especially ammo.  Thanks to some inspired warnings from church leaders Christopher even put a few holes in his Xbox.  The killing weapon, Michaels new Romanian Mosin Nagant.  Grandpa took a few shots, and Steve who doesn't even own a gun, got in some target practice.

Thank you Michael.
