One of our favorite hikes is into Union Falls an 18 mile round trip with a view of the spectacular Union Falls, the tallest in Yellowstone, and the real treat -- swimming in Scout Falls. We think Scout Falls is the perfect swimming hole, it's temperature is warm, the depth is about 9 feet, there are rocks to jump from, and you can climb up under the falls for the perfect back massage. We enjoyed a warm day, some huckleberry picking along the way, a flat tire, which delayed our drive out just enough to see the perfect sunset on Indian Lake, and a closing dinner at Big Juds in Ashton. We were joined on this adventure by Kevin, Deena and our good friends Brian and Spencer Memmott and Brett and Brayden Sampson.
