Near Meadow Lake is the old ghost town of Gilmore an old mining community that was active from 1870 until World War I in the early 1900s. The old ghost town and vicinity has dozens of old buildings, cabins, and mines. It was a fun place to explore, especially for Christopher our resident historian in training.
What a neat place! I bet you had so much fun hunting around the old remain!
