Back to Washington and Olympic Game Farm
On Friday we took the kids to the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, Washington. The game farm is kind of a ghetto zoo that I am sure some PETA folks would have problems visiting. The animals are in ramshackle cages and are fed all sorts of non-wildlife food (you can even purchase bread at the entrance). This is a driving park, except for the one lookout at the top of the hill. The fun part of the game farm is you can get real close to the animals, in fact sometimes too close as our pictures show. We had llamas, elk, bison, and yaks, and deer sticking their noses and mouths right into our car. We went through a bunch of sanitary wipes, cleaning yak elk, bison and deer saliva off hands, window ledges and even the steering wheel. All in all though the kids had a great time and had lots of laughs.
