Matthew's Great News
Matthew was just recognized at the NAPA sales national conference as the number one District Sales Manager in the nation. We are thankful Matthew is such a hard worker and is so passionate about his career. He would acknowledge the Lord's hand in his success and that he is unique among his associates because if his faith and standards.

Not a Rabbit to be Found, Still a Great Time
We took advantage of the Civil Rights holiday and a very beautiful sunny winter day. The temperature was in the mid 30s as we ventured into the desert west of Rexburg in search of some cottontail rabbits. We did see 6 whitetail dear, found a very large hawk or eagle nest, but no rabbits. We did have a good time and did some target practice. Christopher is a real natural, we need teach Isaac the finer skills of silent hunting . . . with time!

Lincoln Thunder Game 1
The Lincoln Thunder (2nd and 3rd grade team) had its first basketball game of the season this week. The players (Brayden Thueson, Malachi Kugath, Brandon Anderson, Matthew Eyring, and Isaac Davis) had a good time and were great sports. Taylor Brown was out of town, but will be back for game 2.
The game was held at the Zone in Rexburg. Here are some pictures highlighting the action.

A Wintery Day
We woke up to several inches of fresh powdery snow -- for sure we'll have a white Christmas. Thankfully grandpa offered his 4-wheeler which is now equipped with a snowplow. We cleared of the church, two neighbors, and our house. The kids had a lot of fun and Isaac even helped with the little bit of shoveling we had to do.
Winter got off to a slow start but it is now hear in full glory!
