Cindy was giving Christopher and short singing lesson and Isaac decided he wanted a turn.  Here are a couple of renditions!

Christopher's Latest Creation

Christopher is our budding artist.  It may come naturally as his uncle Bryce was a very talented artist and his cousin Brandon is actually becoming a well known illustrator.  You can follow Christopher's art work on his very own blog at artbycd.blogspot.com.   His latest drawing is of a couple of dinosaurs, which means he is truly following in his uncle Bryce's footsteps as he was well known for his dinosaur paintings and sculptures with several on display at BYU-Idaho and at the Utah Field House of Natural History in Vernal, Utah.

Isaac's First Bike

Well at 3 years and 8 months, 44 inches tall (he has grown 5 inches in the last 6 months) and approaching 50 pounds, he has officially grown out of our little tricycle.

So, he got his first big boy bike, complete with training wheels. He is riding it like a champ and having a great time.

Emrie Pig Tail

Well, Emrie's hair is now long enough for one pig-tail, that by necessity has to come out the top of her head. She is also enjoying her new high chair. She can climb up into it all by herself!

Smith Park Football

One of Isaac's favorite activities is football, usually played in our front room with the goal to get by Dad to the couch for a touchdown. Now with some warm weather the game has moved outside. For today's game, it was Isaac vs. Christopher. Christopher said Isaac will probably be good because of his generics (I think he meant genetics).

Tennis Time

Now that Taylor is back to school, we are back to playing tennis.  Just so you know, Taylor is the best, but Steve and Jenna are trying to make it a competition.    The problem is Taylor actually has some skill, youth, speed, etc.  We will see how the summer progresses.

Easter Weekend Pics

Our Easter weekend was accompanied by mostly good weather, with just a few thunder showers.  We had our first horseback rides of the spring (yes Cindy is singing to Emrie), a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny who had a striking resemblance to Uncle Kevin, of course some Easter candy, and a trip to the park!

April Showers Bring . . .

Well, April 3 brought one of our biggest snow storms of the year, so much for spring.   Christopher made Emrie a little snow throne, which lasted until Isaac sat it in it.  Later in the day, Emrie had to resort to just watching out a very dirty window.
